About The Position

This is a Hybrid/Local Part-time (30/wk) position for a Government Healthcare Project/Program Manager. The role requires significant experience in public health settings and involves project planning, performance management, stakeholder engagement, and reporting. The contractor will be responsible for coordinating meetings, developing workplans, preparing status reports, and facilitating the adoption of new processes agency-wide. Additionally, the role involves providing consultation on tracking and monitoring activities, developing meeting agendas, facilitating meetings, taking notes, and coordinating quarterly reporting. The contractor will also identify and communicate best practices, prepare or update standard operating procedures, implement tracking systems, assist in data gathering and reporting, develop training sessions, and schedule weekly meetings with the Section Administrator to provide progress updates and develop action plans.

Requirements

  • At least ten (10) years of experience in a public health setting.
  • At least five (5) years of experience with project planning, performance management, meeting facilitation, partner engagement, and handling multiple projects.
  • Must be able to work up to 30 hours per week.

Responsibilities

  • Schedule recurring meetings (at least biweekly) with stakeholders to coordinate performance report development and progress tracking.
  • Prepare status reports quarterly that reflect process and outcome measures.
  • Develop workplans to efficiently integrate the reporting process across multiple foundational plans.
  • Work with stakeholders to facilitate adoption of new processes agency-wide.
  • Provide consultation to the Department on tracking and monitoring activities included in implementation plans.
  • Develop meeting agendas, facilitate meetings, and take meeting notes.
  • Coordinate data reminders, monitor the system for completeness, and follow-up with stakeholders to obtain complete quarterly reporting.
  • Assist in identifying best practices for developing objectives.
  • Assist stakeholders in preparing for presentations.
  • Identify best practices from among stakeholders and customers and communicate them as applicable to improve operations and meet customer needs.
  • Prepare or update standard operating procedures.
  • Implement and promote use of tracking systems to monitor timeliness of required activities and functioning.
  • Assist in data gathering and updates and modeling new data-oriented reports.
  • Develop and provide training sessions.
  • Schedule weekly meetings with the Section Administrator within the Department to update on progress, barriers encountered, and develop action plans for the upcoming week.
