About The Position

At Booz Allen, our Government Relations team serves as a strategic partner to the business by advancing the company's public policy priorities, strengthening relationships with policymakers, and fostering trusted engagement across the political ecosystem. This unique position sits at the intersection of government relations, political engagement, operations, and strategic stakeholder management. Partnering closely with the Director of Strategic Engagement and the Booz Allen PAC Director, you will help execute enterprise-wide initiatives that enhance the company's visibility, credibility, influence, and access among policymakers, industry leaders, and key external stakeholders. Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in government relations, political engagement, public policy, political compliance, or congressional affairs
  • Experience with managing complex projects from planning through execution while balancing multiple competing priorities
  • Experience with Microsoft Office, including PowerPoint and Excel
  • Knowledge of federal election law, FEC regulations, lobbying disclosure requirements, corporate political activity, and PAC governance
  • Ability to display exceptional attention to detail and follow-through
  • Ability to exercise sound judgment while handling confidential and politically sensitive information
  • Ability to build productive relationships across business functions and with external stakeholders
  • Bachelor's degree

  • Experience with administering a corporate Political Action Committee (PAC)
  • Experience with federal election law, FEC regulations, lobbying compliance and corporate PAC governance
  • Experience with supporting executive leaders and preparing briefing materials

Responsibilities

  • Support the development and execution of Booz Allen's federal government relations and political engagement strategies in alignment with enterprise priorities.
  • Conduct policy, stakeholder, and political research to develop concise executive briefing materials, talking points, and strategic communications.
  • Lead project planning and operational execution for strategic Government Relations initiatives, ensuring effective coordination across workstreams, timelines, and stakeholders.
  • Coordinate executive engagements with external stakeholders, including scheduling, briefing preparation, logistics, and follow-up.
  • Support planning surrounding congressional hearings, executive testimony, advocacy campaigns, and other high-profile government engagement activities.
  • Drive operational excellence by maintaining project tracking systems, knowledge management resources, and internal communications that enhance team effectiveness.
  • Coordinate team operations, including vendor onboarding, procurement activities, invoice processing, and administrative support.
  • Support day-to-day administration of the Booz Allen Political Action Committee (PAC), including fundraising initiatives, contribution processing, disbursements, and governance activities.
  • Develop communications and educational initiatives that increase employee awareness and participation in the PAC.
  • Partner with Legal, Ethics, Finance, and external vendors to ensure compliance with campaign finance laws, lobbying disclosure requirements, corporate political activity policies, and applicable ethics regulations.
  • Enhance political disclosure reporting through improved data management, reporting processes, and documentation.
  • Identify compliance risks proactively while promoting a culture of integrity, transparency, and responsible political engagement.
  • Foster strong working relationships with internal business leaders, trade associations, advocacy organizations, and external lobbying firms.
  • Coordinate third-party engagement strategies and evaluate external partnerships to maximize advocacy and reputation effectiveness.
  • Manage logistics for high-impact events, including political fundraisers, thought leadership forums, executive engagements, and facility visits.
