About The Position

Raytheon is seeking a Government Property Administrator to join their innovative team. This role involves administering and maintaining aspects of the Property Management System, supporting multiple property lifecycle areas including acquisition, identification, utilization, maintenance, inventory, subcontractor control, relief of stewardship, and contract closure. The administrator will work closely with Property and Logistics functional management, Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA), suppliers, contracts, and other functions that support the Raytheon property system. This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government-issued security clearance, with U.S. citizenship being a prerequisite for eligibility.

Requirements

  • University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum five (5) years prior relevant experience, OR An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum three (3) years' experience.
  • Experience with Government Property, Asset Management, Property, Operations, or Supply Chain.
  • Active and transferable Secret Clearance level required at time of application.
  • U.S. citizenship is required.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance.
  • U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date with the ability to obtain higher clearance level or program access after start.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in developing and executing compliant property management processes, applying sound judgment aligned with contracts, policies, procedures, and applicable regulations.
  • Knowledge of FAR Part 52 and Part 45, DFARS Part 252 and Part 245, with the ability to interpret contract clauses related to government and customer property.
  • Experience in DoD environments and with DCMA or DCAA oversight, including understanding FAR/contractual language to support effective Root Cause and Corrective Action activities.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite, Special Program Access, cPDM, and PIEE (GFP Module, IUID registry, EDM reports).

Responsibilities

  • Lead audit excellence by coordinating and participating in internal and external audits to meet company, contractual, and government requirements, ensuring alignment with Federal Acquisition Regulations and government contract standards.
  • Manage the property lifecycle by maintaining accurate property records and executing transactions from acquisition through disposal, ensuring complete and compliant documentation.
  • Monitor and analyze property data to track system performance, report key metrics, and use data-driven insights to assess and improve property processes.
  • Drive process improvement by collaborating with internal stakeholders to evaluate current practices, integrate best-in-class solutions, and help develop common processes, procedures, and measurement tools.
  • Ensure property accountability by validating ownership, identification, maintenance, utilization, storage, and disposition of assets.
  • Serve as Property Site Lead, partnering with cross-functional teams to ensure government, contractor, and company property is managed in accordance with applicable regulations and internal policy.
  • Deliver training and awareness materials tailored to various audiences, including program leadership, engineering, lab management, and other functional organizations.
