About The Position

Morrison Foerster's Government Contracts practice is seeking a mid-level lateral associate to join our growing and vibrant team. This role involves representing clients in a wide array of industries and with all types of government contracts and public procurement matters, including contract negotiations, investigations, compliance with federal and state laws and regulations, technology licensing, and cybersecurity. The M&A advisory practice includes representation of sophisticated private equity firms, small businesses and defense tech leaders in government contract aspects of M&A transactions.

Requirements

2-4 years of transactional experience
Demonstrated interest in government contracts and aerospace/defense
Outstanding writing and analytical skills
Top academic credentials
Admitted to the state bar in which you are practicing or eligible to waive in
