About The Position

SAS1 Government Compliance is seeking a Senior Specialist who will be responsible for the Forward Pricing Rate Proposal (FPRP), Disclosure Statement (DS), associated government audits, and other special projects within the Government Compliance organization. This position will interface with local and segment-level functions, including but not limited to Financial Planning and Analysis, Cost Planning, Accounting, Compliance POCs, and external government customers.

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance and a minimum of 6 years of prior relevant experience; Or, Graduate Degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience; Or, in lieu of a degree, a minimum of 10 years of prior related experience
3+ years of experience within compliance, program finance, accounting, or financial planning in the aerospace/government contracting environment
3+ years of experience interpreting and applying FAR (Federal Acquisition Regulation), DFARS (Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement), and CAS (Cost Accounting Standards)
3+ years of experience with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)

Responsibilities

Support the preparation of the FPRP and DS
Support internal and external audits related to FPRP, DS, Cost Accounting Standards, and Business Systems
Maintain rate tables and proposal-supporting financial information
Assist with ad hoc requests, analysis, and special projects regarding compliance issues, as needed
Create and maintain documentation related to processes
Prepare and provide compliance-related training as needed
