This position will offer the opportunity to work remotely based on business need and manager discretion. This flexible remote option allows the manager to determine the schedule and frequency of remote work on a weekly basis. The expectation of this approach requires mandatory in-office attendance for participation in collaborative meetings. This role will serve as a legal advisor and advocate, ensuring compliance with applicable laws while advancing our public policy objectives. The ideal candidate will possess deep knowledge of government processes, strong legal insight, and exceptional communication skills. This position assists the Chief Legal and Compliance Officer in providing legal counsel regarding member appeals of benefits and disability determinations, complex employee benefit matters and statutory interpretation. Your work will be aligned with our standard office hours and not client-based billable hours.
