About The Position

Support the end-to-end preparation of accurate, complete, and audit ready contract closeout packages for the U.S. Government and commercial clients. Work within a matrix team to foster collaborative relationships to ensure packages are accurate, current, and complete with no outstanding risks to the company. Gather documentation, perform post-POP due diligence, and determine eligibility for Quick Closeout, when appropriate. Perform financial analysis on existing contracts to determine appropriate levels of funding and provide de-obligation recommendations to the government. Help maintain timely progress across multiple open orders while adapting to changing requirements and supporting ad-hoc closeout related needs. Ensure the company meets client expectations by promoting efficiency, compliance, and accuracy in every closeout action. Due to the nature of work performed within this facility, U.S. citizenship is required.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in billing, contracts, or finance
  • Experience with analytical problem-solving involving research into policies and contracts
  • Experience with internal controls, audits, risk management, or data integrity
  • Experience using large ERP systems, such as Deltek Costpoint, NetSuite, SAP, or Oracle
  • Experience managing internal and external relationships to obtain desired results
  • Experience Microsoft Office, including Excel, and collaboration tools to organize and maintain closeout documentation packages
  • Knowledge of the government contract lifecycle and post-POP requirements essential for preparing contract and subcontract orders for closeout
  • Ability to identify, research, interpret and apply laws, regulations, and policies related to the task at hand
  • Ability to communicate effectively and efficiently and demonstrate strong attention to detail
  • HS diploma or GED
  • U.S. citizenship is required

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working on U.S. Government contracts or with Department of War (DoW) customers
  • Experience with government contract administration and billing
  • Experience with process improvements, including analysis, recommendations, and implementation
  • Experience with quantitative analysis using Microsoft Excel
  • Ability to perform cost analysis of complex governmental contracts or proposals using spreadsheets
  • Ability to design and prepare high-visibility reports on a timely basis in high pressure situations
  • Bachelor’s degree
