About The Position

Government Accounting Compliance Analyst Key Role: Assist with the development of contract closeout packages for presentation to buying commands and clients. Work within a matrixed team to foster collaborative relationships to ensure packages are accurate, current, and complete with no outstanding risks to the company. Perform financial analysis on existing contracts to determine appropriate levels of funding and provide de-obligation recommendations to the government. Adapt to changing requirements, act as a team player, and work without considerable direction. Complete ad- hoc special projects as requested. Due to the nature of work performed within this facility, U.S. citizenship is required.

Requirements

  • Experience with analytical problem-solving involving research into policies
  • Experience with quantitative analysis using Microsoft Excel
  • Experience with Microsoft Office
  • Ability to identify, research, interpret, and apply laws, regulations, and policies related to the task at hand
  • Bachelor's degree

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with government contract administration
  • Experience managing internal and external relationships to obtain desired results
  • Experience with process improvements, including analysis, recommendations, and implementation
  • Experience with internal controls, audits, risk management, or data integrity
  • Ability to perform cost analysis of complex governmental contracts or proposals using spreadsheets
  • Ability to design and prepare high-visibility reports on a timely basis in high-pressure situations
  • Master's degree in Business, Mathematics, Economics, or Accounting
