About The Position

Centric Consulting is seeking a Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC) Senior Manager - Data & AI Governance to lead strategic client engagements focused on Data Governance, AI Governance, data management transformation, and responsible AI adoption. As a leader within our Governance, Risk & Compliance practice, you will partner with executives, risk leaders, business stakeholders, and technology teams to develop governance frameworks that enable innovation while effectively managing risk. You will help organizations establish trusted data foundations, implement scalable AI governance programs, and align governance practices with evolving regulatory and business expectations. This role is ideal for a strategic consultant who enjoys solving complex business challenges, leading high-performing teams, and helping clients realize measurable value from their data and AI investments.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Analytics, Business Administration, Risk Management, or a related field.
8+ years of experience in Governance, Risk & Compliance, Data Governance, Data Management, AI Governance, Technology Consulting, Risk Management, or related disciplines.
5+ years of experience leading teams, programs, or large-scale enterprise initiatives.
Proven experience designing and implementing governance frameworks, policies, controls, and operating models.
Experience leading initiatives in regulated or highly complex business environments.
Strong understanding of Data Governance, Data Quality, Metadata Management, Data Stewardship, and Data Lifecycle Management practices.
Experience supporting AI, machine learning, analytics, or emerging technology initiatives.
Demonstrated ability to engage executive stakeholders and influence strategic decision-making.
Exceptional communication, facilitation, presentation, and client relationship skills.
Experience leading, mentoring, and developing high-performing teams.
Strong business acumen and the ability to connect governance initiatives to measurable business outcomes.

Responsibilities

Lead Data Governance, Data Management, and AI Governance engagements for clients across multiple industries.
Design and implement governance frameworks, operating models, policies, standards, and controls that support responsible AI and data-driven transformation.
Advise clients on developing enterprise AI governance programs, including use case intake, risk assessments, approval processes, oversight frameworks, and monitoring practices.
Facilitate governance councils, steering committees, and executive forums responsible for evaluating and prioritizing data and AI initiatives.
Partner with data science, analytics, engineering, and business teams to establish standards for AI observability, model evaluation, transparency, and accountability.
Drive enterprise data quality, metadata management, data cataloging, and stewardship programs that improve trust in critical business data.
Lead initiatives that advance organizational maturity in data management, governance, and AI adoption.
Develop and execute Data Literacy and AI Literacy programs that increase organizational awareness, capability, and adoption.
Collaborate with compliance, risk management, legal, privacy, cybersecurity, and audit stakeholders to ensure governance programs align with organizational objectives and regulatory requirements.
Translate complex technical and regulatory concepts into practical business recommendations for executive and non-technical audiences.
Build trusted relationships with client executives and key stakeholders, serving as a strategic advisor on governance and risk matters.
Lead, coach, and develop consulting teams while fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Contribute to practice growth through thought leadership, solution development, business development, and mentoring activities.
Stay informed on emerging trends, regulations, and industry best practices related to Data Governance, Risk Management, Artificial Intelligence, and Responsible AI.
