About The Position
The Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC) Internship provides hands-on experience across functions that help Axos manage risk and operate responsibly. Interns support projects spanning enterprise risk management and regulatory compliance, with exposure to governance practices, risk assessment, regulatory frameworks, and the use of technology and data to strengthen oversight. The role is designed to provide a broad, integrated view of how GRC functions work together to protect the company and support its strategic goals. This requisition is open only to students from St. Augustine High School. The position is for Winter 2026/2027, with a target pay range of $20.00–$22.00. Actual starting pay may vary based on factors including geographic location, experience, skills, specialty, and education.

Responsibilities
- Support projects and initiatives across Governance, Risk, and Compliance.
- Assist with risk and control assessments, issue tracking, and monitoring activities.
- Conduct data analysis and contribute to documentation, dashboards, and management reporting.
- Research regulatory requirements and industry practices, and help translate them into clear summaries.
- Collaborate with cross-functional partners to support governance processes and adherence to regulatory standards.
- Contribute to process improvement and automation initiatives that enhance Governance, Risk, and Compliance efficiency and effectiveness.
