About The Position
As a Gourmet Food Server for Prime Steakhouse at Bellagio, you will guide guests through an extraordinary, four-star culinary journey, orchestrating a dining experience that matches the legendary elegance of the Bellagio Fountains. You will go beyond taking orders and managing tables with meticulous attention to detail, acting as a passionate, highly knowledgeable storyteller of the award-winning menu of premium steaks, seafood, and refined culinary pairings. By collaborating in flawless harmony with your service team to maintain an immaculate, sophisticated dining room environment, your polished poise and intuitive, world-class hospitality will turn an elegant evening into a breathtaking and unforgettable masterpiece of dining.
Requirements
- Work varied shifts, to include weekends and holidays required
- Must be 21 years of age or older
Nice To Haves
- Five years of experience as a Food Server in a Fine Dining, Ultra-Luxury, or similar upscale restaurant environment preferred
- Knowledge of Wines, Spirits, and other liquor preferred
Responsibilities
- Greet guest in a positive, friendly manner and make them feel welcome
- Guide guest through all phases of their experience at the restaurant
- Knowledgeable of selling techniques, service delivery of both non and alcoholic beverages, and service delivery of menu items of every course
- Itemize bills correctly and efficiently secure payment
- Maintain cleanliness and stock of assigned area, side station, tables and Point of Sale (POS) station
- Anticipate the guest needs and respond appropriately with a sense of urgency
- Communicate with management, chef and culinary staff in order to fulfill and address any issues or needs requested by guest and or employees
