About The Position

As a Gourmet Food Server for Jasmine at Bellagio, you will be responsible for delivering an elevated, fine-dining experience. This includes expertly taking and serving guest orders, showcasing authentic Chinese cuisine, and maintaining a sophisticated setting. You will ensure each guest receives attentive, personalized service by maintaining table presentation, anticipating needs, and creating a seamless dining flow from order to check presentation. Your role also involves performing side work, maintaining cleanliness of assigned stations, and collaborating with your team to uphold the highest standards of excellence and contribute to memorable, culturally inspired dining experiences that reflect the elegance and prestige of Jasmine at Bellagio.

Requirements

• Must be 21 years of age or older

Nice To Haves

• Work varied shifts, to include weekends and holidays required
• Previous Fine Dining Server experience in an equivalent (Chinese) restaurant preferred
• Bilingual in Mandarin or Cantonese preferred

Responsibilities

• Greet guest in a positive, friendly manner and make them feel welcome
• Guide guest through all phases of their experience at the restaurant
• Be knowledgeable of selling techniques, service delivery of both non and alcoholic beverages, and service delivery of menu items of every course
• Itemize bills correctly and efficiently secure payment
• Maintain cleanliness and stock of assigned area, side station, tables and Point of Sale (POS) station
• Anticipate the guest needs and respond appropriately with a sense of urgency
• Communicate with management, chef and culinary staff in order to fulfill and address any issues or needs requested by guest and or employees
• Deliver an elevated, fine-dining experience by expertly taking and serving guest orders while showcasing the rich flavors and traditions of authentic Chinese cuisine in a sophisticated setting.
• Ensure each guest receives attentive, personalized service by maintaining table presentation, anticipating needs, and creating a seamless dining flow from order to check presentation.
• Perform side work, maintain cleanliness of your assigned stations, and collaborate closely with your team.
• Uphold the highest standards of excellence and contribute to memorable, culturally inspired dining experiences that reflect the elegance and prestige of Jasmine at Bellagio.
