About The Position
The Gotham Club is a private, members-only club located inside Oracle Park. The club offers premium dining, exceptional service, and a unique atmosphere celebrating the history and legacy of the San Francisco Giants. Our service team creates memorable, high‑end hospitality experiences for members during game days, special events, and daily dining. The Gotham Club Server is responsible for providing elevated hospitality through attentive service, polished professionalism, and expert knowledge of the menu and beverage offerings. This role requires strong communication skills, teamwork, and the ability to deliver a seamless dining experience in a fast-paced, upscale environment. The ideal candidate is proactive, personable, and committed to delivering a high standard of service.
Requirements
- 2+ years of serving experience in upscale dining, hotels, private clubs, or premium hospitality settings.
- Strong communication, multitasking, and guest‑service skills.
- Ability to maintain professionalism in a high‑energy, fast-paced environment.
- Comfortable carrying trays, walking for long periods, and lifting up to 30–40 lbs.
- Must be available evenings, weekends, holidays, and Giants home games.
- Knowledge of wine, beer, cocktails, and responsible alcohol service.
- Polished appearance and positive, team‑oriented attitude.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in private member clubs or luxury hospitality.
- Basic wine knowledge or certifications (WSET, Court of Master Sommeliers) are a plus.
- Familiarity with premium-level stadium or event service operations.
Responsibilities
- Greet and engage members with a warm, professional, and polished demeanor.
- Take and enter food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently.
- Provide detailed knowledge of menu items, ingredients, allergens, specials, and beverage offerings.
- Deliver dishes and drinks promptly, ensuring correct presentation and order accuracy.
- Anticipate guest needs and respond to requests with urgency and enthusiasm.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of assigned sections, service stations, and dining areas.
- Work collaboratively with runners, bartenders, hosts, and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service.
- Process member charges, payments, and POS transactions accurately.
- Follow all safety, sanitation, and service standards, including responsible alcohol service.
- Support game‑day service, high‑volume events, and private functions as needed.
