About The Position

The Gotham Club is an exclusive, members-only social club located inside Oracle Park, offering elevated dining, premium hospitality experiences, and a unique atmosphere celebrating the history of the San Francisco Giants. Our culinary team is committed to delivering exceptional food quality, creativity, and service at every event—from game day service to private member functions. The culinary team plays a key role in preparing high-quality dishes for club members and guests. This position requires strong culinary skills, attention to detail, excellent time management, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, premium hospitality environment. The ideal candidate is reliable, collaborative, and passionate about producing exceptional food.

Requirements

  • 1–3 years of experience as a cook in a restaurant, hotel, or hospitality setting (high-end or club experience preferred).
  • Strong knife skills and knowledge of professional kitchen equipment.
  • Understanding of food safety regulations and kitchen best practices.
  • Ability to work nights, weekends, holidays, and game days as required.
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work well under pressure.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 lbs.
  • Passion for hospitality and elevated guest experiences.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in upscale dining or private clubs.
  • Familiarity with large-scale event production or catering.
  • Creativity and interest in contributing to menu development.
  • Strong teamwork and communication abilities.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes, quality standards, and presentation guidelines.
  • Support game-day operations, private events, and daily dining service.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workstation following all food safety guidelines.
  • Assist with prepping ingredients such as chopping vegetables, preparing proteins, sauces, and garnishes.
  • Monitor ingredient freshness, inventory levels, and food storage procedures.
  • Collaborate with the culinary team to ensure smooth kitchen operations during peak service times.
  • Follow all health, safety, and sanitation policies, including HACCP standards.
  • Assist with setup, breakdown, and cleaning of kitchen equipment and stations.
  • Adapt quickly to menu changes, special requests, and event-specific needs.
