About The Position

Digital Resource is a full-service digital marketing agency that partners with businesses to build customized strategies that increase visibility, generate qualified leads, and drive measurable growth. We’re looking for an experienced Google Ads Strategist to join our Paid Media team. You’ll manage Google Ads campaigns across multiple client accounts, using data and testing to improve performance and help clients achieve their business goals. This is a great fit for someone who loves digging into campaign data, finding opportunities for improvement, and turning strategy into measurable results.

Requirements

2+ years of hands-on Google Ads experience, ideally in a digital marketing agency or multi-client environment.
Proven experience independently building, managing, and optimizing Google Ads campaigns.
Strong knowledge of keyword strategy, bidding, targeting, conversion tracking, and campaign optimization.
Ability to analyze metrics such as CTR, CPC, CPA/CPL, conversion rate, ROAS, and overall spend.
Working knowledge of Google Analytics (GA4).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong organization and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple accounts and priorities.
Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and comfortable taking ownership of campaign performance.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced agency environment.

Nice To Haves

Previous digital marketing agency experience.
Google Ads Certification.
Google Analytics Certification.
Experience with Google Tag Manager, Looker Studio, call tracking, or similar analytics tools.
Experience with landing-page or conversion-rate optimization.
Experience managing campaigns across multiple industries.
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Advertising, Communications, or a related field.

Responsibilities

Build, launch, manage, and optimize Google Ads campaigns across multiple client accounts.
Develop paid search strategies based on client goals, target audiences, budgets, and performance objectives.
Conduct keyword, search term, and competitor research.
Manage bids, budgets, targeting, match types, negative keywords, and campaign structure.
Monitor performance and identify opportunities to improve CTR, conversions, CPA/CPL, ROAS, and overall campaign efficiency.
Conduct A/B testing across ad copy, targeting, landing pages, and other campaign elements.
Write compelling, conversion-focused ad copy.
Analyze performance using Google Ads, Google Analytics (GA4), and other reporting tools.
Monitor conversion tracking and help troubleshoot measurement or attribution issues.
Provide clear campaign updates, insights, and recommendations.
Work closely with Account Managers and other internal teams to support client goals and satisfaction.
Explain paid media performance and recommendations in a way that clients and non-specialists can easily understand.
Stay current on Google Ads updates, automation, AI-driven advertising tools, and paid media best practices.
