About The Position

The Hurricane Junior Golf Tour (HJGT) is seeking passionate individuals for a Fall 2026 Internship focused on Golf Tournament Operations. This role offers hands-on experience in operating golf tournaments, from course setup to breakdown, under the direct supervision and mentorship of HJGT Tournament Directors and Staff Members. The internship involves extensive travel across the country every weekend to various tournament locations. When not traveling, interns will receive Business Operations training from the Senior Leadership team. The HJGT aims to provide junior golfers with exceptional tournament experiences and help young athletes reach college.

Requirements

Pursuing a degree in Business/Sports Management/Marketing or other related fields.
Must receive at least one (1) credit for the onsite experience from an accredited College/University.
Must be within good standing of your College/University.

Nice To Haves

Knowledge of golf.

Responsibilities

Provide extensive customer service to all players and families.
Tournament set-up and preparation includes, but not limited to: marking golf courses, tee and hole locations, scoreboard set-up, utility set-up.
Starting and scoring of players, on course rules officiating, pace of play management.
Other duties assigned by management.
