Golf Starter (Part-Time) - Egypt Valley Country Club
About The Position
Egypt Valley Country Club, West Michigan's premier golf facility, is seeking a friendly, dependable Golf Starter to join our golf operations team. This part-time position plays an important role in creating a welcoming and organized experience for our members and guests while helping maintain the pace and flow of play on the golf course. Must be available to work Sundays. The Golf Starter is often one of the first team members golfers interact with before their round. The ideal candidate is personable, professional, organized, and comfortable communicating with members and guests in a polished private club environment.

Responsibilities
- Welcome members and guests prior to their round
- Assist with staging and starting groups in an organized and timely manner
- Monitor pace of play and communicate professionally with golfers as needed
- Coordinate with golf shop staff and outside operations team to ensure smooth daily operations
- Maintain a visible and professional presence around the first tee area
- Provide general information regarding course conditions, club events, and daily play
- Assist in delivering a high level of hospitality and member service throughout the shift
