About The Position

The Golf Starter is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the golf course from the moment they arrive. This includes greeting members, verifying tee times, and coordinating with the golf shop to maintain consistent play. The role involves restocking ice and water, collecting balls from the putting green, and enforcing club policies. The Golf Starter plays a crucial role in ensuring that every member has an excellent experience at Austin Country Club, whether assisting with early morning tee-offs or handling billing in the evening.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalency
• 1+ years of experience
• Basic understanding of computer operations
• Strong communication skills
• Possess a passion for delivering top-notch service
• Team player
• Ability to put your best foot forward and present yourself professionally
• Ability to work weekends, holidays, and outdoors
• Ability to manage multiple tasks
• Ability to handle repeated lifting, pushing, pulling, and carrying up to 50 pounds
• Ability to stand or walk for extended periods
• Ability to operate a pallet jack and a golf cart
