About The Position
Atkins Golf Club at the University of Illinois is seeking a driven individual for a Part-Time Golf Shop Sales Attendant position. This role involves providing excellent customer service in a fast-paced, hospitality-focused environment. As part of Troon, a global leader in golf and community management, the attendant will learn, contribute, and grow within the organization. This is a seasonal position lasting 6 months or less, running from now through the Holiday Season.
Requirements
- Friendly, outgoing personality
- Basic computer software operation
- Customer service experience helpful
- Ability to work independently
- Excellent verbal communication skills
- Knowledge of golf extremely helpful
Responsibilities
- Provides a high level of customer service in the golf shop, including taking tee times, checking in golfers, and merchandise sales
- Accurately handles cash and credit card transactions related to merchandise sales and greens fees
- Assists in keeping shop displays neat and clean
