About The Position

Offers superior customer service while selling merchandise and assisting management in merchandising, inventory control, and special events preparation.

Requirements

Must be able to speak, read, write English.
Must be able to read and write to facilitate the communication process.
Requires good communication skills, both verbal and written.
Must possess basic computational ability.
Must possess computer skills, including, but not limited to, accounting programs, Microsoft Office.
Excellent interpersonal and sales-related skills.
May be required to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form; to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

Responsibilities

Performs opening and closing procedures for the shop or store.
Responsible for accountability of all sales and money transactions made.
Collects applicable fees from patrons as they arrive.
Makes reservations and assists customers on the phone as needed.
Work with team and outside staff to ensure all play is accounted for.
Assists with general cleaning of the shop.
Assist with creating appealing displays.
Assists with quarterly physical inventories.
Maintains flexibility to take on new and different tasks as directed by the Department Manager.
Cross train to handle all racquet shop requirements.
Incorporates safe work practices in job performance.
Attends staff meetings.
