About The Position

Palm-Aire Golf Club is looking for a friendly, dependable, and customer-focused Part-Time Golf Shop Attendant to join their team. This position is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys interacting with people, has an interest in golf, and takes pride in providing excellent service to members and guests. The ideal candidate is personable, reliable, comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, and enjoys being around the game of golf.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent required.
Must be able to read and speak English.
Basic computer skills and experience using POS systems.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and varying shifts.

Nice To Haves

Previous customer service or retail experience preferred, using suggestive selling techniques.
Golf knowledge and a passion for the game are strongly preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

Greet members and guests warmly and professionally.
Assist customers with merchandise selection, product knowledge, and sales.
Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system for cash and credit transactions including green fees, merchandise, and rentals.
Schedule and manage tee times accurately and efficiently.
Maintain the golf shop’s appearance, including stocking, organizing displays, and keeping the area clean.
Receive, tag, and organize new merchandise shipments.
Answer phones and respond to questions about course conditions, events, and policies.
Communicate effectively with golf professionals and outside services to ensure smooth daily operations.
Assist with tournament registration, scoring, and event logistics when required.
Perform opening and closing duties including cash reconciliation and securing the golf shop.
