Requirements

Two years of golf shop experience OR any equivalent combination of experience and/or education from which comparable knowledge, skills and abilities have been achieved.
Good organizational and verbal skills.
Ability to use logical and rational thinking to resolve issues.
Ability to perform basic mathematical skills.
Ability to visually monitor the operation areas.
Ability to write and read member communication.
Ability to perform moderate physical work.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., up to 30 lbs. frequently.
Ability to perform activities such as bending, kneeling, crouching, climbing, reaching, standing, pushing, lifting and grasping for up to 5 hours without sitting.
Ability to consistently lift, carry and load adaptive and other sports equipment that may weigh 50 or more pounds.
Ability to sustain aerobic activity for 20 consecutive minutes.

Responsibilities

Accurately reserve tee times and register members and club guests.
Ensure an accurate account of the transactions, collections, disbursements, daily reports, deposits and cash drawer/computer system.
Complete daily opening and closing checklists as outlined in the Golf Manual.
Perform merchandising duties.
Manage and sell golf shop merchandise to Members and club guests.
Gather a working knowledge of the club’s policies and procedures in an effort to accurately inform the Members and club guests.
Perform any requested administrative duties.
Operate within all guidelines, policies, standards and constraints as established by Hampton Golf.
