About The Position
The City of Steamboat Springs is seeking a Seasonal Golf Shop Assistant to join their Parks & Recreation Department. This role serves as an ambassador for the City, upholding its values and ensuring a positive experience for guests. The position involves working in a fast-paced environment with responsibilities including customer service, retail operations, and assisting with golf operations. Requirements
- High School diploma or GED preferred
- Must be a highly organized individual
- Experience in the golf industry preferred
Nice To Haves
- PGA certification is a plus
Responsibilities
- Assist guests with check-in process, booking tee times, and retail inquiries.
- Assist in receiving merchandise using the Club Prophet POS system.
- Assist with monthly inventories.
- Maintain a working knowledge of golf operations rules and procedures, including tee times and pace of play.
- Assist the Head Golf Professional with daily tasks.
- Support the day-to-day operations of the golf shop.
- Potentially assist with junior golf clinics.
