About The Position

Achasta Golf Club, located in Dahlonega, GA, is pleased to announce an excellent career opportunity for a Golf Services Attendant! We are seeking a driven individual who is eager to learn, contribute, and grow within a fast-paced hospitality-focused property organization. As part of Troon, you’ll contribute to a global leader in golf and community management. The Outside Services Attendant supports all outside golf operations, including golf cart fleet management, driving range maintenance, putting and chipping green upkeep, and general facility and grounds cleanliness.

Requirements

Valid driver’s license required.
Clock in.
Fill sand bottles on holes 1 & 11 (no empty bottles on course or in cans).
Check carts while staging: fully stocked, trash-free, GPS working.
Update bag stand information.
Pick and restock range.
Wash range balls and clean ball washer.
Leave station clean.
Clock out.
Wash, scrub, and stock all carts.
Ensure carts are trash-free and plugged in.
Pick and restock range.
Fill sand buckets.
Wash range balls and clean ball washer.
Move range equipment back 3–6 feet.
Fully pick range.
Remove and store range stands (Sunday closers).
Check sand bottles on 1 & 11.
Take trash to dumpster (do not leave on top of cans).

Prior golf experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Greet all guests in a friendly, courteous, and professional manner.
Maintain a clean and organized bag drop area.
Report golfer complaints promptly to the Assistant Golf Professional.
Stage carts daily in excellent working condition.
Return carts to the cart barn cleaned, stocked, and plugged in.
Ensure each cart contains a pencil, scorecard, 2 bottles of sand, a clean cooler, 8 total tee slots, and 2 towels.
Inspect carts for damage or wear and report issues to the Pro Shop.
Maintain a minimum of 7 carts staged at all times.
Assign 2 golfers per cart when possible.
Follow all safety procedures when operating carts.
Keep range stocked throughout shift (pick during slow periods).
Fill sand buckets on driving range and in cart barn.
Wash range balls after picking and clean out ball washer.
Keep chipping and putting greens neat (push balls off green).
Move range equipment nightly (3–6 feet).
Remove all range equipment from range and chipping green on Sundays.
Maintain cleanliness of player entrance, staging area, driving range, chipping and putting greens, pro shop exterior, walk paths, start hut, and cart barn.
Keep work areas clean and organized (bag drop & cart barn).
Take trash out nightly and ensure it is placed inside dumpster.
Coordinate with Pro Shop to maintain proper cart availability.
Assist Assistant Golf Professional with tournaments and outings.
Attend required employee meetings and orientation.
Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Grab a radio and tee sheet at the start of each shift.
Maintain exceptional cleanliness at all work stations throughout the shift.
Ensure work stations are guest-ready at all times, including during slow periods.
Do not leave trash, loose equipment, or clutter unattended.
Fix anything out of place immediately.
Ensure all carts are washed and scrubbed, trash-free, properly stocked, and neatly parked in the cart barn.
Ensure range balls, baskets, and equipment are clean, organized, and stored properly.
Clean windshield and black areas on golf carts daily.
Ensure station looks better at the end of the shift than when arrived.
Remove trash nightly and place fully inside dumpsters.
Ensure no trash, debris, or equipment is left out at closing.
