About The Position

The Range Host will be one of the first points of contact for any member or guest. This position will be responsible for assuring that the members and their guests have consistent world-class service before their rounds. This position oversees the daily use of the driving range and activities that occur on the driving range. This position serves as a golf ambassador at the practice facility for our members and guests.

Requirements

Valid State-issues driver’s license.
General knowledge of the golf game is necessary.
Great customer service and interpersonal skills are vital to the success of this position.
Excellent communication skills between departments, members, and golf staff are vital to the success and efficiency of the golf operation.
Must know how to drive a golf cart and be comfortable using technology.
Ability to enforce rules and ensure compliance is important.

Previous high-end golf facility experiences preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

Greet Members and Guests by name upon arrival.
Clean member and guest golf clubs.
Maintain range standards, including ensuring golf balls are always available.
Be an ambassador for the club before member/guest rounds.
Be a vibrant, visible face at the practice facility.
Assist with the organization/start of tournament programming.
Communicate in a professional manner and tone with fellow staff across all departments.
Proactively manage daily workflow to maximize productivity and efficiency.
Study the tournament/event calendar to be able to promote events to members.
Communicate with the members in a professional manner.
Assist Golf Instructors, Golf Professionals, and Outside Services with range and clinic setup/breakdown.
