Golf Pride Brand Rep — Perfect Side Gig for Golf Enthusiasts
About The Position
Golf Pride is seeking experienced merchandisers with a genuine passion for golf to represent its brand in retail locations. The representative maintains visual merchandising standards and educates store teams about Golf Pride products, grip technology, and how to match grips to golfers. Each monthly visit focuses on improving in-store displays and building associates’ confidence in recommending Golf Pride products. This is a supplemental opportunity, not a full-time role. The position is an independent contractor (1099) role, with one one-hour visit per location each month at Golf Galaxy and PGA Tour Superstore locations. Pay starts at $24 per hour, based on market and experience, and a travel incentive is provided. Representatives submit store visit reports through ThirdChannel’s mobile app.
Requirements
- Golf experience and product knowledge are required; candidates must play golf, know the equipment, and be able to discuss grips confidently.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills, including the ability to teach and coach.
- Organized, dependable, and self-motivated.
- Comfortable using mobile apps and everyday technology.
- Smartphone required: iOS 17 or later, or Android 10 or later.
- Reliable transportation and willingness to travel within the assigned territory.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in retail, sales, brand ambassador, or merchandising roles is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Execute and maintain Golf Pride visual merchandising standards, keeping displays, signage, and grip walls stocked, organized, and on-brand.
- Train and educate store associates on the Golf Pride product lineup, grip technology, and matching grips to golfers.
- Build relationships with store staff and management and serve as the Golf Pride expert in the assigned territory.
- Identify merchandising opportunities and share competitive intelligence from the field.
- Complete store visit reports through ThirdChannel’s mobile app, including clear information, high-quality photos, and well-written summaries.
