About The Position

This role is responsible for ensuring the golf facilities are well-maintained and that members and guests have a positive experience. Key duties include preparing golf carts, maintaining practice areas, assisting golfers with their bags and clubs, and providing excellent customer service.

Requirements

Able to be on your feet for the duration of your shift.
Able to lift 30-40 lbs.
A service-oriented mindset; project a sense of being approachable and professional.
Comfortable engaging and interacting with members.
Ability to be self-aware.
Self-motivated with the ability to be proactive.
A dedication to helping maintain golf facilities.
Ability to provide great customer service and provide the best experience to members and guests.
Must have a valid driver's license.

Nice To Haves

Ideally, either play golf or have worked in golf previously.
General knowledge of golf operations is ideal.

Responsibilities

Ensure golf carts are charged, clean, and fully stocked prior to next use.
Set up practice facilities (all ranges and short game areas).
Load member golf bags in accordance with tee times.
Routinely pick practice ranges/short game area and clean/return balls to ranges.
Maintain the cart barn to the highest standards of cleanliness and organization.
Complete other duties as necessary (e.g., trash removal, refilling sand bottles).
Staff the bag drop during operating hours to greet and assist members/guests upon arrival.
Clean members’ clubs at the completion of their round.
Learn members’ names and greet them.
