About The Position

TPC Louisiana, located just 15 miles outside of downtown New Orleans in Avondale, offers an award-winning championship golf course open to the public. It is home to the state’s only PGA TOUR event, the Zurich Classic of New Orleans, and hosts many other events throughout the year. The Outside Operations Staff provide critical service to our members and guests, often being the first Club representative to meet and greet them upon arrival. This role offers an opportunity to tee up your career as a part of the TPC Network team.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent education
Previous experience working in customer service, preferably in a country club or equivalent

Responsibilities

Assist PGA TOUR players, Members and guests with their golfing needs, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable golf experience.
Greet and welcome members and guests.
Assist in pulling all golf cars from the golf car facility to the bag staging area at opening.
Remove golf bags from member’s and guest's cars and load them on a golf cart.
Drive the golf car to the staging area.
Provide members and guests with miscellaneous information to help them play the course (e.g., yardage markers on sprinkler heads are measured to the middle of the green).
Provide members and guests with thoroughly cleaned and good operating cars stocked with towels, scorecards, pencils, and divot repair material.
Drive dirtied golf cars to the car washing area; wash and wipe down cars, and restock with supplies.
Drive golf cars into the golf car facility and plug them into the battery charger at closing.
Ensure the Golf Car Facility is always clean and orderly.
Perform periodic car maintenance and minor special repairs.
Update car service records.
Service the practice facility by driving the picker and mechanically picking up golf balls.
Set up the practice facility for play.
Continually replenish the supply of practice facility balls.
Patrol the practice tee using a golf cart to pick up trash and practice golf ball bags.
Rotate practice facility area in accordance with the tee maintenance program.
Collect, clean, and bag balls at the end of play, culling damaged balls to ensure all range balls are in excellent condition.
Assist members and guests as they depart, ensuring golf clubs are cleaned and carried to their vehicles.
Work closely with Golf Shop staff to ensure club rules (dress code, beverage policy) are followed.
Ensure no member or guest carries their clubs to or from the practice facility, parking lot, or clubhouse areas.
Perform special projects or other duties as assigned.
