About The Position
The Hurricane Junior Golf Tour (HJGT) is seeking passionate individuals for a Spring 2027 Internship in Golf Tournament Operations. This internship offers hands-on experience in operating golf tournaments, from course setup to breakdown, under the mentorship of HJGT Tournament Directors and Staff. Interns will be involved in all aspects of tournament operations, including customer service, course marking, starting and scoring players, and on-course rules officiating. The role requires extensive travel across the country every weekend. Additionally, interns will receive Business Operations training through hands-on learning and development from the Senior Leadership team. The HJGT aims to provide elite tournament experiences, help young athletes reach college, and build unforgettable moments on the course. The tour was founded in 2007 to provide junior golfers aged 8-18 with opportunities to play on exceptional courses in a competitive environment, with a vision to provide superb hospitality and make every event memorable. The HJGT is the largest junior golf tour in the world and has a partnership with Nexus, an international hospitality and entertainment company.
Requirements
- Pursuing a degree in Business/Sports Management/Marketing or other related fields
- This is an unpaid internship, and you must receive at least one (1) credit for the onsite experience from an accredited College/University.
- Must be within good standing of your College/University

Responsibilities
- Provide extensive customer service to all players and families
- Tournament set-up and preparation includes, but not limited to: marking golf courses, tee and hole locations, scoreboard set-up, utility set-up
- Starting and scoring of players, on course rules officiating, pace of play management
- Other duties assigned by management
