About The Position

Piedmont Driving Club, a distinguished private club recognized as a Platinum Club of America, is seeking a Golf Intern. This role involves safely and efficiently parking and retrieving members’ and guests’ vehicles, ensuring a courteous and welcoming arrival and departure experience. The intern will also assist golf professionals with daily golf operations. The club offers a supportive work environment and a picturesque setting on nearly 600 acres with a scenic lake, located conveniently near Atlanta.

Requirements

High School Diploma or GED
Actively pursuing PGA membership in a PGA Professional Golf Management program
Fundamental knowledge of the game of golf, rules of golf, golf facility operations and tournament operations
Strong organizational, planning and prioritization skills
Experienced in written and oral business communications
Proficient using Microsoft Operating Systems and Office Suite

Nice To Haves

Maintains a credible golf game preferred
Proficient in other applications, (e.g., tournament software and databases) preferred
You easily establish a good rapport with people.
You thrive in a fast-paced environment.
You have some golf experience.

Responsibilities

Provide outstanding customer service to our members and their guests
Assist golf professionals with activities relating to the management of day-to-day golf operations.
