About The Position

Sanford Health, the largest rural health system in the United States, is dedicated to transforming the health care experience and providing access to world-class health care in America’s heartland. This role is responsible for all clinic and academy activities specific to the designated sporting specialty (Golf). The instructor will manage the daily activities of all sporting skill development, scheduling of facilities and court/field time. Responsibilities also include instruction and preparation of curriculum for skill training and successful growth of all aspects of the academy. The ideal candidate will oversee all levels of skill development and must be well-versed in all phases of teaching specific designated sporting skills. Strong administrative skills are required to ensure the teaching of established program objectives consistently throughout the academy. The role requires effective scheduling of practices, workouts, clinics, camps and tournaments, and clear communication with parents, athletes and Sanford Sports administration. Flexibility to cover training hours at any time of day, including weekends and holidays, is necessary. Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required. In lieu of degree, may consider six years applicable work experience.
• Minimum of two years skills training and/or coaching experience.
