About The Position

The Saratoga Regional YMCA is seeking an energetic and dependable Golf Instructor to create safe, welcoming, and engaging experiences for youth and adults. Under the direction of the Senior Program Director, this position assists with a variety of programs and special events while helping to maintain organized program spaces and a positive environment for participants. This role is a great opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the community while building valuable skills in a fun, mission driven setting.

Requirements

Minimum age of 15 years old; Must be able to furnish working papers.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work as part of a team and follow direction.

Nice To Haves

Current CPR PRO & First Aid certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

Serve as a First Tee Golf Instructor for youth ages 5–10, helping participants learn basic golf skills, rules, etiquette, sportsmanship, and safety in an age-appropriate and engaging environment.
Lead and assist with First Tee golf activities, including putting, chipping, basic swing fundamentals, grip, stance, and other introductory golf skills
Set up, organize, maintain, and properly store golf equipment before and after each class.
Create a positive and encouraging environment where children of all skill levels can learn, participate, and build confidence.
Follow First Tee and YMCA curriculum, safety procedures, and program expectations while supervising participants.
