About The Position
This is semi-skilled maintenance and repair work of a routine nature at a city golf course.
Requirements
- Some knowledge of the maintenance, repair and care of golf facilities and equipment.
- Some knowledge of chemicals and fertilizers used in the development and control of golf course vegetation.
- Ability to mix chemicals according to specifications using basic arithmetic computations.
- Ability to follow oral and written instructions.
- Ability to properly and safely operate grounds maintenance equipment such as mowers, sweepers, chain saws, stump grinders, etc.
- Ability to keep simple records.
- Ability to deal with the public courteously and tactfully.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with other employees and the general public.
- Must possess a valid driver's license from state of residence.
