In order to deliver on our commitment to customer service, we are looking to hire focused individuals to work in the front line of the golf course to work as Golf Course Starters & Player Assistants. We are looking for someone that is focused, passionate, and has professional and friendly demeanor.

Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent work experience
General golf knowledge is required
Excellent customer service skills and communication skills are required
Attention to detail and the ability to multi-task
Possess a willingness to be beneficial, courteous and professional as this is the first contact golfing guests have with SentryWorld

Responsibilities

Greet golfers near the first tee and warm-up tee area.
Ensures that golfers have checked in with the pro shop and paid the appropriate golf fees before warming up and teeing off.
Provide golfers with a verbal introduction to the golf course and its history, including information about the golf course's designer, recent renovations, championships hosted, pace of play guidelines, course rules, procedures, and cart restrictions.
Direct guests to the warm-up tee, refreshment stations, first tee and tenth tee.
Monitor pace of play for all golfers on the course, addressing pace issues or disputes between golf groups as needed.
Assist guests on the golf course with lost golf clubs, rides/transportation needs, pace of play assistance, and other guest needs as required.
