About The Position

This position involves semi-skilled manual and skilled equipment operation work in golf course maintenance. The role is responsible for watering greens and tees, maintaining sand traps, and changing cups on greens and tee markers. The worker will mow turf with sophisticated golf maintenance equipment and pick up debris, leaves, and broken tree limbs. Related work is performed as required.

Requirements

  • Ability to perform heavy manual labor
  • Ability to follow oral and written instructions without close supervision
  • Skilled in the use of hand and mechanical tools and equipment
  • Must obtain CPR/AED and First Aid certification within 30 days of employment

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of the proper use and operation of equipment used in golf course maintenance
  • High School Diploma or G.E.D Equivalent
  • Some experience in grounds keeping
  • Any equivalent combination of education and experience
