We are currently seeking Golf Course Landscapers and Horticulturists as we prepare for our best season yet! This is an on-call position, which means it is a part-time, hourly role. This position will work an estimated 16 hours per week to no more than 39 hours per week, dependent on the needs of each course and the employee’s availability. This is typically a seasonal position. On‐call positions may have routine or variable work schedules.

Requirements

  • Graduation from high school or the possession of a GED, HiSET or TASC Certificate.
  • One (1) year of work experience performing cultivation and care of flowers and plants.
  • Previous golf course or landscape maintenance experience
  • A passion for working outdoors, sustainability, and conservation
  • Flexibility to work on weekends and holidays (flexible schedule is possible)
  • Ability to work in all weather conditions
  • Consistency and punctuality
  • Valid work authorization that does not require sponsorship of a visa for employment authorization in the U.S.

Responsibilities

  • Perform care and maintenance of existing golf course landscapes
  • Weed, trim, plant, and mulch golf course landscapes
  • Assist with golf course operations such as mowing and aerating
  • Load and unload equipment and supplies, clean and care for basic tools and equipment
  • Assist with the repair of water line breaks, cut and lay sod, maintain irrigation systems
  • Assist with horticultural tasks and cultivate gardens’ aesthetic
  • Perform other related duties as assigned or requested
