About The Position

The Golf Groundskeeper I position is responsible for maintaining the landscaping of assigned areas and providing outstanding customer service to guests and owners at Brasada Ranch, an 1800-acre resort in Central Oregon. This role involves working amidst natural beauty with panoramic views of the Cascade Peaks as part of an award-winning hospitality team dedicated to delivering extraordinary guest experiences. The position is seasonal, running from May to September, with a standard daily schedule from 6:00 am to 3:00 pm, and requires working weekends and holidays. The individual must be able to meet the physical demands of the job.

Requirements

• Ability to meet the physical demands of the job.
• Physical requirements including lifting, kneeling, standing
• Available to work early hours and weekends.
• Participating knowledge of the game of golf.

Responsibilities

• Use equipment safely and prudently.
• Know condition of and performance of equipment and report malfunctions immediately.
• Show respect and consideration for golfers.
• Must be able to work both independently and as a team.
• Must be able to follow directions, verbal and written and work safely and competently.
• Make guests and owners feel welcome and appreciated, give excellent customer service.
• General maintenance and cleanup of equipment.
• Ability to give constructive feedback and offer ideas for change and improvement.
• Operate mechanical and motorized equipment.
• Be able to turn automatic irrigation controllers off and on.
• Work in adverse weather; cold/heat; rain/snow.
• Perform additional responsibilities and duties as assigned.
