Golf Course Equipment Operator 1
About The Position
Greensboro Country Club is seeking an experienced equipment operator for golf course maintenance. This is a full-time, entry-level position where individuals will begin training on various tasks associated with golf course maintenance and the use of various types of equipment. Individuals in this category should have the ability to operate small equipment such as weed eaters, fly mowers, walking greens mowers, triplex mowers, out front rotary mowers, trap rakes, aerifiers, and utility vehicles. In addition, operators should be willing to learn to operate larger equipment.
Requirements
- Ability to operate small equipment such as weed eaters, fly mowers, walking greens mowers, triplex mowers, out front rotary mowers, trap rakes, aerifiers, and utility vehicles
- Willingness to learn to operate larger equipment
- Background checks are required
Responsibilities
- Walk mowing greens
- Ride mowing greens
- Hand raking and power raking bunkers
- String trimming creeks and other parts of the course
- Edging curbs
- Trash collection
- Debris pickup
- Help to complete various small projects such as sodding, tree removal, bunker renovation, etc.
