About The Position

The City of Birmingham, MI, is seeking enthusiastic and motivated individuals for seasonal positions to help maintain its parks and golf courses. These roles offer flexible hours, up to 40 per week, with occasional evening and weekend work. No prior expertise is required; a willingness to learn and contribute is valued. The positions are seasonal, with a salary range of $15 - $18 per hour for both Clubhouse Service and Golf Maintenance roles.

Requirements

• Excellent customer service skills
• A knack for multitasking
• Comfortable working in an outdoor environment
• Ability to lift up to 45 pounds
• Experience with small power tools and mowing equipment
• Enthusiasm for hands-on work

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience in sales or food preparation is a plus
• A basic knowledge of golf is a bonus
• Enthusiasm and a willingness to learn are equally valued

Responsibilities

• Assists in scheduling tee times with a smile
• Prepares hot and cold food items
• Handles cashier duties for merchandise sales
• Maintains a clean and organized clubhouse
• Performs mowing, pruning and other landscaping duties
• Perform routine maintenance tasks troubleshooting and repairing equipment to keep it in peak performance
• Collaborates with the team to ensure a seamless and efficient operation
