About The Position
A Golf Cart Attendant is responsible for preparing and cleaning golf carts, assisting golfers with clubs and equipment, maintaining grounds areas, and ensuring guests receive outstanding service before and after their rounds. Ideal candidates enjoy working outdoors, staying active, and creating a positive guest experience.
Requirements
- Previous golf, golf course, cart attendant, grounds, outdoor work, hospitality, or customer service experience preferred but not required.
- Positive attitude and strong guest service skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Dependable, punctual, and detail oriented.
- Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Ability to work flexible schedules including weekends and holidays.
- Valid driver’s license preferred.
Responsibilities
- Clean, wash, and prepare golf carts for daily guest use.
- Stage carts in an organized and timely manner for tee times and tournaments.
- Load, unload, and clean golfers’ clubs and equipment.
- Greet golfers upon arrival and provide friendly, professional customer service.
- Assist with tournament cart setup, signage, and event preparation.
- Keep cart barn, bag drop, staging areas, and surrounding grounds clean and organized.
- Monitor cart fleet condition and report maintenance or repair needs.
- Collect carts from the course and return them for cleaning and charging.
- Maintain inventory of towels, scorecards, pencils, and guest golf amenities.
- Support overall golf course operations and complete additional duties assigned by management.
