About The Position

Reunion Resort & Golf Club is seeking a Golf Attendant to join their team in Kissimmee, FL. This role is responsible for welcoming and assisting members and guests, with a primary focus on maintaining the driving range and golf carts. Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age or older
  • Valid driver’s license is required.
  • Must have attention to detail, strong ability to multi-task, and time-management skills
  • Golf course or customer service experience of at least 6 months is required.
  • Must have strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Must be able to sit, stand, and walk for long periods of time.
  • Must be able to complete repetitive motions throughout shift such as reaching, pushing, pulling, lifting, carrying, etc.
  • Must be able to lift, push, carry, and pull at least 50lbs.
  • Comfortable to perform the responsibilities of the role in various types of weather conditions
  • English language proficiency is required to perform the essential functions of this position.

Responsibilities

  • Welcome and assist members and guests from arrival to departure, delivering prompt, efficient, and personalized service.
  • Focus primarily on the driving range area, ensuring it is maintained and serviced throughout the day.
  • Maintain golf carts in flawless condition, clean, well-stocked (towels, sand, scorecards, pencils, tees, and other accessories), and in proper working order.
  • Keep the golf facility neat by continually servicing the practice range, target greens, putting greens, chipping areas, and cart staging area.
  • Monitor and replenish supply inventories, ensuring adequate stock.
  • Assist guests with obtaining rental clubs.
  • Provide golfers with information to enhance their experience, such as rules, yardage markers, rest station locations, and cart restrictions.
  • Remind golfers to repair ball marks, add sand to divots, and rake bunkers. Report all infractions to the starter.
  • Maintain knowledge of emergency procedures, equipment locations, and reporting protocols. Provide emergency assistance to golfers and guests when necessary.
  • Support golf shop staff with preparations and operations for tournaments, clinics, and special events.
  • Assist the starter with tee times, course flow, and pace of play.
  • Maintain a professional appearance at all times, ensuring the assigned uniform is clean, pressed, and complete with the required nametag.
  • Attend all required meetings and trainings.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by leadership to meet business needs.
  • Adhere to all company policies, safety procedures, and brand service standards.
