About The Position

Join Broken Sound Club as a Golf Attendant! We are seeking a service-oriented individual to provide exceptional service to our Members and Guests. This role involves assisting golfers with their bags and golf carts, maintaining the cleanliness and upkeep of the cart barn, practice facilities, and golf carts, and ensuring all equipment is properly stocked and maintained. The Golf Attendant will also assist with tournament setups and provide additional member services as needed. This is a full-time hourly position with a schedule open sunrise to sunset, Monday through Sunday.

Requirements

Must be service-oriented with strong attention to detail.
Must understand the importance of addressing all members by last name in all interactions.
Must possess a basic knowledge of the game of golf and the equipment used in playing the game.
Follow all safety guidelines as outlined in Club Policies and Staff Training Video.

Responsibilities

Assist golfers with bags and golf carts professionally, appropriately, and in a timely fashion.
Keep the cart barn, bag-drop, and practice facilities clean at all times.
Maintain all practice facilities properly throughout the day, including stocking practice balls for the driving range, chipping green, and putting green.
Maintain Club-owned golf carts, including their cleanliness and upkeep.
Keep all areas clean and neat at all times.
Carry members’ and guests’ bags at all times.
Help Members and Guests with additional requests as needed.
Wash and dispense range balls, ensuring adequate numbers of white & yellow balls are in the ball crates.
Monitor the Driving Range and report any violation of the club’s driving range rules to their supervisor.
Maintain all equipment used for duties.
Clean clubs, spray carts, fill sand, and maintain the clubs' golf cart fleet.
Help members with items on their carts, including plugging tires, putting air in tires, and watering batteries.
Maintain daily members’ carts that are kept in storage, as well as members’ clubs kept in bag storage.
Keep a well-organized bag room for all stored clubs and bags.
Set up the staging area for all tournaments, including table setup, starter’s box setup, hole placard setup, cooler with water setup, and any other required items.
