About The Position

Five Iron Golf is seeking morning/afternoon Guest services specialists, called Golf Attendants, to deliver exceptional service and genuine hospitality. Golf Attendants build rapport with guests, develop proficiency with the venue’s equipment—including golf simulators—and help guests enjoy their visits. The role includes guest service, simulator support, food and beverage service, sales, and maintaining clean, guest-ready areas. Golf Attendants report directly to the GM of Performance. This is a non-exempt, part-time hourly position; hours vary by week, with an emphasis on mornings and afternoons. The position is tip eligible and pays $15 per hour plus tips.

Requirements

• Golf, server, and/or hospitality experience is encouraged but not required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional service and help guests have a fun, enjoyable experience.
• Check in with guests at the bar and in assigned simulators, address concerns, and ensure their satisfaction.
• Learn the golf simulators to help guests choose gameplay, explain data outputs, and improve their experience.
• Organize golf bag storage, manage golf equipment, and perform basic simulator maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Learn the venue’s products and services, including technology, lessons, leagues, and memberships, and sell or cross-sell relevant offerings.
• Provide informative and engaging facility tours.
• Follow guest-engagement standards, including prompting a first drink, upselling, suggestive selling, and using service scripts.
• Maintain knowledge of food and beverage offerings; present menus, answer questions, make recommendations, and use upselling techniques.
• Use point-of-sale terminals to enter orders and process payments accurately.
• Serve food and beverages promptly and courteously.
• Keep golf simulators and surrounding areas clean and guest-ready.
• Follow food-handling, alcohol-service, and cleanliness health and safety regulations.
• Verify guests’ legal drinking age.
