About The Position

The Outside Operations Supervisor is responsible for leading the daily execution of all outside golf operations while delivering exceptional service to members and guests. This position oversees the Golf Attendant and Starter/Player Assistant teams, ensuring the highest standards of service, safety, efficiency, and presentation throughout the golf operation. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader who promotes teamwork, accountability, and The Boca Raton's luxury hospitality standards.

Requirements

Previous leadership experience in golf operations, outside services, or a luxury hospitality environment preferred.
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills with the ability to motivate a team.
Working knowledge of golf operations, golf etiquette, pace of play, and outside service procedures.
Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, holidays, and early mornings.
High School diploma or GED preferred, but not required
Lifting 50 lbs. maximum with frequent lifting and carrying of objects weighing up to 25 lbs.
Requires walking or standing to a significant degree, as well as reaching, handling, feeling, talking, hearing, and seeing.

Responsibilities

Supervise the daily operation of Outside Services, including cart staging, bag room, driving range, first tee, and practice facilities.
Lead, coach, schedule, and motivate Outside Operations staff to deliver exceptional member and guest experiences.
Ensure golf carts are cleaned, charged, stocked, staged, and maintained to resort standards.
Oversee bag storage, rental club inventory, driving range setup, and practice facility presentation.
Coordinate daily staffing assignments to ensure efficient coverage and operational flow.
Monitor pace of play and work closely with the Starter/Player Assistant and Golf Shop to provide a seamless golf experience.
Train new team members and reinforce department service, safety, and operational standards.
Inspect outside golf facilities throughout the day to ensure cleanliness, organization, and proper presentation.
Monitor equipment conditions and coordinate maintenance or repairs as needed.
Address member and guest concerns professionally and resolve issues promptly.
Maintain communication with Golf Professionals regarding daily operations, staffing needs, tournaments, and special events.
Assist with tournament preparation, outings, and member events.
Support Golf Shop operations during peak business periods.
Maintain inventory of carts, rental clubs, range balls, and operational supplies.
Assist with opening and closing procedures for Golf Operations.
Conduct daily shift meetings and provide ongoing coaching and performance feedback.
Ensure compliance with department policies, safety standards, and operating procedures.
Perform additional duties assigned by Golf Management.
Lead by example while fostering a positive, team-oriented work environment.
Promote Ownership in operation, professionalism, and continuous improvement.
Build strong relationships with members, guests, and fellow associates.
Maintain a polished appearance and consistently uphold The Boca Raton's luxury service standards.
Support employee development through coaching, mentoring, and training.
