About The Position

Speechify is seeking its first Go-to-Market (GTM) Engineer for SIMBA, a product that allows companies to deploy natural, human-sounding AI voice agents in over 71 languages with sub-second latency. This role is crucial for building and owning the technical systems that power the outbound sales motion, including lead enrichment, sequencing, CRM architecture, and AI-powered personalization at scale. The GTM Engineer will be responsible for the infrastructure and systems that ensure prospects receive the right message at the right time, and that the Sales team has the necessary tooling and data to close deals. This is a hands-on role for someone who has experience building outbound systems from scratch and is driven by metrics like pipeline influenced.

Requirements

  • Solid experience in a GTM engineering, growth engineering, or RevOps role with a strong technical focus.
  • Proven experience in personally building outbound systems from scratch, including enrichment pipelines, multi-step sequences, and lead scoring, rather than just managing existing ones.
  • Deep hands-on experience with the modern GTM stack, including Clay, Apollo, HubSpot or Salesforce, Outreach or Instantly, Zapier/Make, Webhooks, and REST APIs.
  • A mindset focused on funnels and metrics, with obsessive tracking of pipeline influenced, reply rates, meeting conversion, and cost per opportunity.
  • Ability to ship fast, maintain simplicity, and operate proactively without waiting for explicit permission.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience building GTM systems for an AI, voice, or developer-tools product.
  • Familiarity with contact center, CX, or telephony buyer personas.
  • Background at a B2C company that also operates a B2B or API sales motion.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain SIMBA's outbound infrastructure, including lead sourcing, enrichment pipelines, scoring models, and sequencing workflows that operate at scale.
  • Own the GTM tech stack end-to-end, encompassing CRM (HubSpot/Salesforce), enrichment tools (Clay, Apollo, Clearbit), sequencing platforms (Outreach, Instantly), and the integrations between them.
  • Deploy AI agents to automate prospect research, generate personalized outreach, and manage follow-up workflows, thereby reducing manual effort for the Sales team.
  • Instrument the entire top-of-funnel process to track performance, identify inefficiencies, and continuously optimize for booked meetings and pipeline creation.
  • Develop integrations and automations using APIs, webhooks, and tools like Zapier/Make to ensure data cleanliness and system synchronization.
  • Evaluate and adopt new AI and GTM tooling rapidly, serving as the team's expert on emerging technologies and potential solutions.
