About The Position

PGS Worldwide is seeking a GNC Engineer – Level 2 in Chandler, AZ for a one year contract-to-hire role supporting a leading aerospace & defense company. This position is 100% onsite and supports the development and evaluation of guidance, navigation, and control systems for advanced aerospace applications. The engineer will work with mathematical models, control theories, algorithm development, and hardware and software integration to support navigation, control performance, and mission success.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree with 2 years of professional experience, or Master’s degree with 0 years of professional experience.
• Existing U.S. Government security clearance at Secret or Top Secret.
• Exposure to C++, Python, and development in a Linux environment.
• Ability to design, develop, implement, verify, and test software and simulation toolchains.
• Ability to work with 6 degree of freedom (6DOF) simulation to design and test flight code.
• Ability to optimize flight software and simulation software.
• Experience working with trajectory optimization software and tools.

Nice To Haves

• Master’s or PhD in a relevant engineering discipline.
• Control systems theory and guidance law design.
• Competence in C++, Python, Jira, and development in a Linux environment.
