About The Position

The GMP Recycle Technician is responsible for the recycle, reuse, and reclamation program. This role involves collecting, salvaging, and sorting materials, maintaining collection areas, and adhering to safety and company procedures. The position requires a high school diploma or GED with 1-2 years of recycling experience, or an equivalent combination of training and experience. CPR/AED/First Aid certification is a plus, and a valid driver's license, forklift certification, and Hazardous Waste Handling Training may be required.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED with 1-2 years of recycling experience in a company environment or equivalent combination of training and experience
Completed all safety and task training certification

Nice To Haves

Responsibilities

Comply with safety rules, policies, and procedures
Stop at risk behavior of others and self

Understand reporting systems and importance of the environment
Collect, salvage, and sort reusable or recycle materials or waste materials
Inspect and sort materials
Maintain dock and collection areas
Work with multiple collection containers
Other duties as assigned
