About The Position

The GME Project Manager II is responsible for the overall management of projects and activities related to the Hospital Corporation of America (HCA) West Florida and the USF Morsani College of Medicine (MCOM) Graduate Medical Education (GME) Affiliation Agreement. This role serves as the primary Project Manager for the consortium agreement and oversees multiple initiatives to ensure timely completion. The position reports to the Designated Institutional Official (DIO) of the USF MCOM GME Office, with a dotted-line reporting relationship to the Vice Chair for Faculty Development in the Department of Medical Education (DME). The GME Project Manager II will frequently serve as the first point of contact for HCA and USF leadership, faculty, and staff regarding questions and projects related to the affiliation agreement. The individual in this role must work independently to manage sensitive information, supervise staff, and exercise a high level of decision-making authority. Exceptional professionalism and customer service are essential. The position requires strong multitasking abilities, meticulous attention to detail, and effective prioritization skills. The ideal candidate is a collaborative team member who thrives in a dynamic, fast‑changing environment and can adapt to shifting priorities. This position requires travel between MCOM Downtown Campus; HCA Campus and USF Main Campus. This position is not eligible for Visa Sponsorship.
