About The Position

The GME Coordinator is responsible for the day-to-day administration of the ACGME-accredited residency/fellowship training program. The GME Coordinator plays a critical role in the success of the program and is expected to possess skills in leadership and personnel management. They are also required to develop in-depth knowledge of the ACGME and Program Requirements, including policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Managing the daily operations of the GME residency/fellowship program.
  • Assisting the Program Director in developing and maintaining the educational quality of the training program.
  • Ensuring compliance with ACGME accreditation requirements.
  • Coordinating educational activities that support the program’s curriculum and adhere to ACGME requirements.
  • Designing, delivering, and reporting timely completion of resident/fellow, faculty, and program evaluations.
  • Coordinating accreditation activities including ACGME Site Visits, Self-Studies, Internal Reviews, annual program reviews, etc.
  • Ensuring GME and departmental policies and procedures are communicated/available to the GME Program Director, faculty, residents/fellows, and staff.
