About The Position

Directs and oversees the operation and maintenance of the Greater Des Moines
Energy Center, combustion turbines, LNG facilities, LP facilities, power
modules, Moline hydro and related facilities, consistent with the organization's
policies and objectives. The position has responsibility through direct reports
for approximately 25 combustion turbines, including two F class heavy duty frame
type machines.

MidAmerican Energy Company, a Midwest utility, provides regulated electric and
natural gas service to more than 1.6 million customers in Illinois, Iowa,
Nebraska and South Dakota. The company owns and operates a portfolio of
power-generating assets, approximately 61% of which is wind generation.
